When the first Southern Cross windmill rolled out of the Toowoomba Foundry over an a century ago, there was no way the Griffiths family expected the brand to grow to emerge as an Australian icon, and still operating in the 21st century.
When a water tank constructed by one of our competitors at the Sunshine Coast University Hospital suffered structural failure in 2015, the tank ruptured, inundating Kawana Way with approximately two and a half million litres of water, resulting in damaging flooding, and even sweeping away a family vehicle.
