The modular design of Southern Cross® YT Series Tanks has significant advantages over conventional concrete and welded steel tanks.

Modular tanks are pre-fabricated and flat packed in factory to ensure easy transportation and storage. There is no requirement for on-site rigging, welding, cutting, coating, working at heights or scaffolding installation required. This greatly reduces installation time and minimises exposure to occupational health and safety issues.

​YT Series Tanks are installed from the roof down utilising specialised hydraulic erection equipment. This removes the need to work at heights. Southern Cross® have fully qualified and highly experienced tank erection crews available for fire tank installations in any location.

Fire Tank Colours:

Southern Cross® YT Series Tank walls are available in either GALVABOND® steel or hot dip galvanizing (HDG) steel finish, depending on thickness required. 

Roof sheets are available in ZINCALUME® & COLORBOND® steel. The walls can be coated in any COLORBOND® colour prior to shipment.
